Question 3

What's the difference between the Sheer Vertical and Classic Vertical?

Accepted Answer

The Sheer Vertical is a modern ripplefold-style soft furnishing with woven textile fabrics and unique hanger clips. The Classic Vertical is a traditional vertical blind with fabric or PVC vanes. Both use the same Fold-Connect track.

Accepted Answer

The Arad Fold-Connect track system and hardware ship factory-direct from South Korea. Our fabric collections are sourced from mills across the USA, Spain, Germany, Canada, Korea, and China.

Question 19

Can I order raw materials or only finished products?

Accepted Answer

Both. We supply raw materials for fabricators and custom-made finished product. Contact us for details on either option.

Question 20

What makes the Arad hanger clips different?

Accepted Answer

Arad hanger clips are sewn directly onto each panel, not snapped on with a plastic gator clip. Choose matching or contrasting yarn thread to create a visible design signature. Available in two sizes. Panels are machine-washable on wool cycle with the clip attached. The result is a couture-grade finish that positions you above commodity competitors.

Question 21

What equipment do I need to fabricate Arad panels?

Accepted Answer

Two RAiTEC machines: a Precision Cutting Machine (up to 7m panel length) and a RAiTEC Sew-on Clip Sewing Machine. Together they take raw fabric to finished, clip-ready panels. Visit our Equipment page for full specifications.

Question 22

How does the Arad process work, from measurement to service?

Accepted Answer

Six steps. 1) Measure, define the opening and specify dimensions. 2) Specify, select product line (Sheer Vertical or Classic Vertical), fabric or vane material, finish, control method, and opening configuration. 3) Fabricate, precision-cut panels or vanes, with shape-memory processing for Sheer Vertical textiles; headrail sections are prepared for compact shipping. 4) Ship Compact, the Fold-Connect headrail ships at half the length, lowering damage risk, and works for both product lines. 5) Connect + Install, the headrail connects on site with a precision joint, panels or vanes hang, and the system operates as a unified rail. 6) Service, individual panels or vanes detach for maintenance, washing, or replacement, with no full-system disassembly required.
